Today KS2 (Pine, Cedar and Elm) had a visit from someone from parliament to explain to us all about what actually happens in parliament and how important it is to vote. We learnt about the different houses and what it means for us. We really enjoyed our workshop and look forward to being involved and voting in the future!
Nikki taught us all about the House of Commons and House of Lords- she was really great!
We got to vote, democratically on electronic voting machines and saw our results instantly on the board!
We came up with our own campaign and policies why we should be voted in as our own mini Prime Minister!
We thought about what we would ask Marsha De Cordova for!
