Hi everyone,
I hope you’ve all had a great week!
This Sunday, we will all be celebrating Father’s day. At school, we would have been busy making our own Father’s day cards to celebrate our Dads, Granddads, uncles and other special men in our lives that take care of us.However, you can still create your own cards at home. Here are some ideas you can try:

Hello everybody,
I hope that you’ve all had a wonderful weekend! I had a lovely weekend calling lots of my family members and having some fun zoom calls with them. My brothers and I decided we would have a pizza making competition. Sorry guys- I didn’t win ๐
I also spent a long time talking to my Grandmother who will be 91 this year! She was telling me lots of amazing information about her parents (my great grandparents) that I had never known.

This got me thinking about our home learning this week and I have decided to set you a pizza making task and a family tree researching project.

Hello my Pine Cones,

A quick update to share some lovely work that I have been sent this week.
Cassie was inspired by our art lesson on Georgia O’Keeffe this week. First she took a photo of the ‘Purple Kisses’ that she has growing outside on her balcony and after observing them very carefully she sketched them using pencil.
She built on this sketch by then creating a beautiful painting, Just like the famous O’Keeffe.

A painting fit for an art gallery Cassie, Well done!

I was also very proud of Iona this week. Like Cassie, she really enjoyed learning about Georgia O’keeffe and practised her sketching and painting skills to create a wonderful piece of O’Keeffe inspired art. She even dissected the same flower for her science project.

Take a look at the maths that Iona completed too! What a marvellous mathematician at work!!

A huge well done to Mohamed- Hadi, Kirill, Abdul, Cassie, Simeon and Megan for practising their maths skills on Sumdog this week. I have given you all a message and a reward for the next time you play ๐
Keep smiling everyone! you are doing an amazing job and remember……
Missing you so, so much
