Admissions to Nursery
The Governing Body of St Anne’s C of E Primary School is responsible for the admissions to the nursery class each year. There are 39 pupils allocated to nursery class and their attendance is spread between full-time, morning and afternoon sessions. This admission limit has been agreed between the Governing Body and the Local Education Authority and applies to the year 2021/22. Please be aware that applications for Nursery class must be submitted to the school before the end of February at the latest for admissions in September.
Parents of children not admitted may appeal to the Headteacher in the first instance. If they feel they have a strong enough case, they may appeal to the governing body.
Please be aware that your child is not guaranteed a place in the main school if they attend St Anne’s Nursery.
Admissions Policy (Reception and Main School)
The ethos of this school is to provide an inclusive environment where children learn and flourish in a setting shaped by Christian values.
The Governing Body is responsible for the admission of pupils to St. Anne’s Church of England School and admits 30 pupils to the reception class each year. There are 15 Foundation places and 15 Open places available for Reception class. This admission limit has been agreed between the Governing Body and the Local Education Authority and applies to the year 2019/20.
Reception to Year 6 Admissions
