Hi Acorns,

I hope that you’ve all had a lovely week. Here is a short video for you all with a little message and instructions for how to plant a bean at home!

In the video I showed you the five tiny caterpillars that have grown so much bigger already. I still need your help!! Please send your name ideas as soon as possible to admin@st-annes.wandsworth.sch.uk with Acorn in the subject line. Look how much they have grown since Monday!

Next week is half-term, here are a few fun activities that you could do with your family at home!

EYFS half term activities

Here are some updates from this week’s Busy Bees.

Joseph has had a very crafty week at home with his family. Look at his amazing butterfly created using egg cartons, what a great idea Joseph!

Poppy’s poster of ‘The Bumblebells’ made me smile a lot! I love how the whole family have been enjoying some foot painting. Poppy is also very excited because her sunflower seed is now growing. Well done for being so patient Poppy!

Thomas has mastered the skill of cracking eggs, well done Thomas!  He is doing a great job at following the Cosmic Yoga moves this week too!

Thank you so much for the beautiful birthday card Mackensie. I thought we could use this to wish Pia and Joseph O’Brien a very Happy Birthday for next week!

Some of our friends in Acorn Class will be celebrating Eid this weekend. Here are some videos about Eid. It’s really kind and interesting to find out about other people’s cultures and beliefs.

I hope you all have a wonderful half-term!

Best wishes,
