Dear Acorns,

I hope you’ve all had a super week and enjoyed some of the Paper Dolls challenges. It has been ever so hot this week so I hope you’ve found some good ways to keep cool!

Here is a fun rhyming story time that I’ve made for you to join in with, see if you can find the different characters in the pictures! The story is Each Peach Pear Plum written by Janet and Allan Ahlberg which some of you might already know :).

Well done to this week’s Busy Bees:

Reece has been very patient waiting for his sunflower to grow. Its about the same height as you now Reece, well done for taking such great care of it!

Alexander has been enjoying spending lots of time outside with his family in the sunshine and been very excited to see the local wildlife of Wandsworth!

Joseph has been very busy completing the different activities from his home learning pack. Well done Joseph! It looks like Joseph has enjoyed splashing about and keeping cool in the paddling pool this week too!

Well done Poppy for answering nearly all of the answers correctly in the Julia Donaldson quiz. Poppy has also been busy practicing her cutting skills and setting up some fun circuits in the park. It looks almost like Poppy’s very own Sports Day!

From Monday there will be some new and exciting home learning packs for you to collect from the school office. Don’t forget to pick yours up!

I hope that you have a lovely weekend Acorns!

Best wishes,

Mrs Eyre
